Welcome Sheena Sakai- You have been Sheenafied!
From head to toe, Sheena Sakai is more than just a pretty face seen on America’s Next Top Model. Behind all the make-up, the photo shoots, and the runway, Sheena has BIG plans for the future. She plans to bring her own world of entertainment to collaborate with taking a stand against human trafficking. Aside from modeling, Sheena sings and acts – let’s just say she’s a triple threat in the entertainment biz and plans to use that to its full potential for a great cause. Goals are still in the mix, however, she does have plans to reach out to Asia and Peru to not only start setting up new organizations but also to work with already established organizations to stop human trafficking.
Sheena’s experiences on ANTM definitely developed her character and shined a light on her personality. She shared that the first time she was on ANTM when she was new to modeling and felt as though they took advantage of her, but none the less, she gained a best friend by the name of McKey Sullivan. The second time around it was about holding her own support. She wanted to make sure that everyone got a taste of the Asian American swag. She believes that no matter where you come from, you should represent your culture to the fullest and show off that BIG personality you have within.
On her free time she absolutely loves to shop vintage. She believes that vintage items have such a history and incredible personality. “It’s a one of a kind historical piece”, as she puts it. She also greatly appreciates the fact that it’s environmentally friendly and that it saves money – what girl doesn’t love that!
All in all, Sheena Sakai has started her journey with a “Sheenafied” bang. Touching the lives of many with her BIG personality, her charisma and her compassion. She sets out to impact the people she meets in a positive way and to share a good connection with them all. From the runway, to the thrift stores, to traveling across the world for a good cause – one thing is for sure, you won’t forget her once you’ve been Sheenafied!
